Hybrid Teaching: Enhancing Students' Learning |
Virtually every physical education class is comprised of students with varied ability levels. This session will focus on combining the Games Stages approach to teaching skills and tactics and Learning for Mastery into a hybrid teaching method that addresses the learning needs of all students by delivering developmentally appropriate instruction in a sequential manner. Hybrid teaching is applicable to PETE programs and to teaching collegiate and secondary level activity classes. Attendees will have an opportunity to participate in a demonstration of the hybrid method. |
