Review of research conducted with middle school principals and middle school PE teachers in North Carolina. Principals’ perception of the importance of PE in their curriculum will be presented along with various themes identifying barriers that impact physical education class context and how principals choose and monitor personnel. Strategies for improved professional relationship and professional growth are offered. |
