Neurobics: Cognitive Exercises for Older Adults |
The purpose of this session is to provide methods and techniques of cognitive fitness for older adults. Activities for mental stimulation that develop creativity, stimulate both sides of the brain, and improve memory will be demonstrated and practiced through hands-on techniques. Application of these techniques in various settings - home, community, adult day care and long term care - will also be included. Neurobics as an intergenerational activity will also be demonstrated. |
