NDA Scholar/Artist Lecture: In the Moment, Honoring the Teaching and Learning Lived Experience |
The creative process in teaching and learning is examined in this lecture. Amid educational reform, the essence is still the relationship between teacher and students as a dialogue where these roles intertwine - the dynamic process shaped by the moment. Creative space is a nurturing site where multiple voices are encouraged and valued, knowledge constructed together. Experience with each student is always new, even when the content seems identical for we evolve through the dimensions of the lesson and ourselves. This moment is a once in a lifetime creative experience that changes us all forever. |
