Coming Full Circle: Athletics Playing with Academia
The purpose of this program is to present ways in which the academic unit in Exercise Science on campuses can partner with athletic programs for women to better prepare both the athlete and the student. Included in this session will be curriculum ideas for experiential learning in both biomechanics and exercise physiology for the graduate and undergraduate students. For the coach, this collaboration with academics will provide valuable information about both aerobic and anaerobic performance variables. This program is relevant for coaches, teacher, students, and researchers.
