Developmentally Appropriate Assessment using Aquatic Developmental Trends |
The use of “developmental trends” for assessment of swimming is the latest innovation adapted from motor development research that provides an important new testing tool for aquatic professionals looking to improve instruction in their swim classes. During this session, participants will learn to assess several aquatic developmental trends so they can provide their students of any age or skill level individualized, prescriptive teaching information. This session uses digital video to provide participants with opportunities to assess actual swimmers and prescribe developmentally appropriate learning activities. |
