Steppin' Seniors
Co-sponsor: Fitness & Wellness Council The Steppin' Seniors Program, in existence for more than ten years, perform various kinds of dancing and demonstrate that dance can be performed as a lifetime activity. Annette Hubbard, the leader, brings a group of 20 dancers who sponsor community programs (i.e., women's health, school visits/interact with youngsters) and have performed at various fundraisers for the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Easter Seals, and Meals on Wheels. Through their performances and assistance, Steppin' Seniors are great advocates of physical fitness, wellness, and the importance of older adults remaining active throughout their lives.
