Teaching Effective Vision for Athletic Performance |
The purpose of this presentation is to provide coaches with an understanding of how vision affects performance. Studies have shown that the strategies that expert and novice athletes use to scan their playing environment differ. Those differences influence information processing, anticipation and decision making and impact an athlete's performance. Through lecture and applied activities, coaches will learn how to train their athletes to conduct more effective visual searches. Hands on drills that can be used on the field/court, in the weight room and off the court will be demonstrated that coaches can immediately apply to their teams. Sponsored by MotionCoach. |
