Tips for Physical Education Teachers and Coaches Working in Independent Schools |
A panel composed of a variety of independent school physical education teachers, coaches and athletic directors will discuss current issues, dilemmas, and positive aspects of teaching/ coaching within the independent school sector. Components unique to an independent school will be discussed as they impact the physical education teacher/coach. In addition, the panel will provide “tips from the trenches” to those teachers and coaches first entering the independent school sector on the unique nature of single-gendered, coed, and religious affiliated independent schools. |
