| Teaching Off-the-Ball Movement Concepts in Physical Education and Sport |
| This session will focus on ways to create more effective off-the-ball moves in territorial team sports. Physical education teachers and team sport coaches will discuss such topics as what needs to be emphasized to be considered a competent player, when tactical concepts should be introduced, who would benefit from this type of instruction, and how to develop off-the-ball tactical awareness. Answers to these questions may have implications for the teaching methods used to develop off-the-ball movement. |
