Planning a Sport Education Experience using Multicultural Activities |
This presentation is beneficial for teacher educators who are contemplating ways to infuse multicultural experience in their programs. It also provides opportunities for practicing teachers to acquaint themselves with various ways of selecting and analyzing traditional activities for learning in physical education. The main goal is to orient pre-service teachers, teachers and teacher educators to a way of teaching physical education using multicultural activities. By the end of the presentation, participants will be acquainted with i) elements for developing a course or unit/season using multicultural activities, ii) ideas for planning a sport education experience using multicultural activities. |
