Everyday Steps for Everyday People: Working Every Day to Save the Earth
Personal health is dependent on the health of the environment. Most people don’t recycle or conserve until it hits their pocketbook. Individuals CAN make a difference in saving the earth!! Ideas will be presented to activate earth-friendly, energy saving, conservation practices. Learn how to infuse everyday activities into your health curriculum that will save money, resources, and energy, now and in the future. Awareness, conservation, recycling, safe alternatives to chemicals, advocacy, and service-learning will be discussed. Educate and motivate students to become more environmentally conscious and aware of their wasteful practices. Each individual’s actions can create a safer, healthier environment.
