Inclusive Fitness Activities: Keeping It Fun for Everyone
This session will provide Physical Education and after-school program coordinators a variety of inclusive fitness activities. These activities were developed to be fun, non-elimination, maximum participation activities for males and females. They can be used in a variety of Physical Education and Recreation settings to promote health-related fitness with students at the elementary and middle school ages, while helping to create a safe and inclusive environment. The presentation will address how the activities can be implemented in various settings. Many of the activities presented require little or no equipment.
