Brain Gym - Move Your Body, Connect Your Brain
Brain Gym is a series of movements and activities that integrate and enhance brain/body function. Primitive infantile reflexes will be discussed and the relationship movement plays in child development, learning and behavior. Participants will receive an overview of Educational Kinesiology, learn 5 of the 26 Brain Gym activities, explore the physiology of learning and identify the role movement and play serve in child development. Eye integration (binocular vision) and the relationship of catching/tracking an object and tracking words on a page will also be discussed.
