Tried, Tested & True: Creative Teaching Strategies for the Health Education Classroom
Using a combination of multimedia, small group, and large group formats, this session presents many creative teaching strategies and how they can be applied to virtually any unit in health education. The presenters will share techniques that demonstrate how the creative strategies can be implemented with any age group, kindergarten through college. Participants will have the opportunity to role-play some of the strategies that are discussed and will leave the session with handouts and a series of lesson plans that will enable them to implement creative teaching strategies in their classroom.
