Concept-Based Fitness: Middle & High School Level
This session will introduce you to concept-based fitness activities and assessments for grades 6-12. Challenge your students, body and mind, with the use of innovative and self-directed fitness activities. Students will take ownership of their personal fitness while you educate them on concepts of health and fitness which are aligned with NASPE standards and benchmarks. You will learn how to assess “concepts” and be introduced to common assessments that can be implemented immediately upon returning to your classroom.
