Assessment of Basic Sport/Physical Activity Skills in Children: A Working Session
A challenge to parents and teachers around the world is to increase the frequency of physical activity in all children including those with disabilities. A new international test is being developed to measure children’s current level of performance on basic sport and physical activity skills. Most of the session will be used as a working session for teachers to discuss and provide feedback on activities and skills they view as critical for enhancing physical activity for children aged 6-12 in their region of the country. International norms will be collected. Elementary and adapted physical education teachers are encouraged to attend.
