Structured Preschool P.E.: What Is It and Why Must It Start This Young?
Teachers and administrators will learn why it's vital to begin effective, structured physical education programs for children in Kindergarten and younger. Updated health concerns affecting small children will be discussed along with immediate short and long-term benefits of a proper fitness/nutrition program. Research will be presented along with strategies for seamless implementing into the current school curriculum. Pilot study data will illustrate how an effective P.E. program can impact small children’s fitness skills, health knowledge and cognitive development.
