The Race is On: Urban Orienteering - Family Fun & Fitness |
This session will engage participants in an urban orienteering event. It will also include information on how to set up events in your community and/or school, and examples of successful events in metro areas. Participants will be provided with maps, compasses, and pedometers to use during the session. They will have the opportunity to explore downtown Chicago (via a map created by a Chicago native) and get exercise while competing in the event. Participants meet in the registration area and look for the sign "Urban Orienteering." |
