Dance for Teen Boys/Nu Delta Alpha Honor Society: Exemplary Ways to Mentor Your Dance Students |
Mentoring students is a crucial part of dance education. In this session, kinetic wellness specialist Christopher Rutt examines how to encourage teen boys to dance within a safe, supportive environment. Fine arts and physical education credit will be discussed; students are scheduled to assist. In the second session, learn how to recognize your students for artistic and academic achievement by creating your chapter of the National Dance Honor Society, Nu Delta Alpha. Council Chair Molly Snell-Witt and talented members of the Texas A & M University chapter will guide you. Both programs are designed for dance and physical education mentors. |
