| Open to all National Association for Girls and Women in Sport and Women's Sports Foundation members. Both NAGWS and WSF rely on research data to dispel myths and educate the public about the benefits of sport participation, active lifestyles for females, and the role of women in sport leadership. To help recognize the importance of research and pay tribute to leaders in the research arena, the Women's Sports Foundation has developed the Darlene A. Kluka Women's Sports and Activity Research Award. This award is presented each year at the NAGWS/WSF Joint Reception at the AAHPERD Convention. |
