All physical education teacher educators are invited to come together to celebrate their profession. Luncheon will be followed by a ceremony honoring the PETE programs that were approved in 2004 according to the NASPE Initial or Advanced PETE standards. Beginning this year, the PETE Honor Award will be given to individuals, entities, or programs that have done exemplary work in PETE and had an effect on teacher education beyond their own university.
