This session will offer two presentations on the historical development of physical education. One will explore the Turnverein Movement in Denver, Colorado from the 1800's to the present. Another willoutline the origins of the Seventh-day Adventist Health, Physical Education and Recreation Association, a faith-based organization that began in 1981. |
