Relates to Standards 5 and 6: In the days of Leave No Child Behind it is extremely important to provide a quality physical education program. The first step in creating a quality program is in the establishment of a positive learning environment. This session will introduce participants to the ways that physical educators are incorporating the principles of The Responsive Classroom approach to teaching and learning, and the principles of Educators for Social Responsibility. Presenters are both certified and are both trainers for the Northeast Foundation for Children. Our intended audience is K-5 physical educators. |
