Netball Mania: A Multicultural Experience Through Movement Activities |
Netball is the world's most popular team sport played by women in over 70 countries and by over 7 million people. It is a fast-paced, skillful game that requires a combination of specialized running, jumping, throwing and catching skills. This session is designed to explore the significance of Netball to the personal and cultural development of girls and women and provide participants with a hands-on playing experience. Participants will have FUN learning and actively participating in various developmentally appropriate activities for grades K-12. Session activities will culminate into a participants' Netball competition. |
