Medicine Balls: Let the Games Begin |
With roots firmly grounded in antiquity, the humble medicine ball has endured several decades of obscurity to emerge again as a key element of functional physical fitness. From school physical education programs to world-class athletic teams, medicine balls are hot. Numerous drills have been developed, but games and other informal activities are not widely published and taught. This hands – on session will introduce participants to a wide array of creative medicine balls games and activities appropriate for upper elementary through high school students. These activities have been kid and student test!! Emphasis will be on progression, variety, and safety. Agility ladders and hurdles will also be used. |
