Experiencing a Semester in Adventure Education in One Day!! |
A comprehensive adventure education curriculum including team building initiatives, rope skills, rock climbing, repelling and high ropes activities. Participants will be at Lyons Township HS actively participating in components of the class. The session will begin with basic initiatives and move into trust building activities. Time will be spent belaying and accomplishing the skills of prusicking and mechanical ascension. Participants will climb, repel and complete the high ropes course. The day will conclude with a summary of how these activities fit into a semester long course.
**Transportation and lunch are provided. Meet in registration area; look for “Adventure Education” sign. |
