Hazing Horrors: Legal Issues/Sport Solutions |
Recently people were shocked to read about the football players hazed and sodomized at football camp. TV news audiences watched teenage girls who played in an all-female football game violently assault the opposing girls after the game. Lawsuits have been filed. In some hazing cases deaths have resulted; school employees and students have been held legally liable. The purpose of this presentation: to give sport leaders and teachers current legal information and suggestions for avoiding law suits connected with hazing and sport violence. Extremely current session focuses on schools that are implementing good ideas for hazing prevention. Audience discussion welcomed |
