The Keys to Improving Athletic Performance through Strength Training |
The presentation will begin with a brief overview of knowledge, skills and abilities that strength and conditioning coaches should possess. Thereafter, the presentation will focus on: 1) performance tests commonly used to identify strengths and weaknesses of athletes; 2) advanced lifting and spotting techniques (including plyometrics); and 3) designing sport specific training programs that help athletes peak at the right time. |
