Tie Fishing and Boating into your Physical Education Class |
The National Fishing and Boating Education Grants Initiative is a combined effort between the Future Fisherman Foundation, Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation, AAHPERD, AALR, and NASPE to promote and support the incorporation of fishing and boating into effective school-based Physical Education programs across the country. The initiative combines a nationwide network of outdoor educators, industry expertise, resources, equipment, and supplemental teaching materials to successfully introduce thousands of children to the sport of fishing and boating. Certified/degree-bearing K-12 public or private school physical educators are eligible for grants of up to $5,000. |
