Adventure Racing- A Nontraditional Approach to the Physical Education Lesson |
Adventure racing is a challenging new sport that is growing in popularity. Many of the elements of this sport can be used in physical education lessons. In adventure racing teamwork is crucial. It’s a sport that requires cooperation and communication. Adventure racing is a physical activity that can be used in physical education lessons that may increase enjoyment, participation and intensity of the students involved. Presentation will include what adventure racing is, how to use adventure racing in your class, as well as results from a study that suggests the benefits of using adventure racing. |
