Teaching the Hiring Process |
This workshop will provide college physical education instructors with details on a course project that will prepare undergraduate students for the hiring process. How are a few applicants selected for interviews from perhaps more than one hundred applications? You will learn to design an assignment to give students (prospective teachers) a chance to apply for a position, screen applications and serve on a hiring committee. The assignment gives those who are soon to be applying for their first teaching job insight into the selection process and how they might better prepare and present themselves as a candidate. |
