Folk Dance Teaching Skills for the Junior High Student |
Important educational techniques will be discussed and demonstrated to enhance the participants' knowledge and confidence in teaching dance to K-12 students. A variety of basic folk dances will show how powerful these methods can engage our youth and will guarantee success in your dance curriculum/program. The presenter has conducted extensive research in international folklore and has traveled to the Ukraine on research grants from Brigham Young University, where she teaches in the world dance division. |
