Building a Community within a College/University Physical Education Department |
A positive and enthusiastic working and classroom environment can make a colossal difference in the preparation and professionalism of undergraduate physical education majors. This session, presented by student officers and advisors, will focus on many different aspects of how to build a thriving community within a college/university physical education department. Some of the specific areas of discussion will include faculty philosophy, positive “in-class” projects, how to build majors and honors society clubs, and building student and faculty participation in numerous activities, including conferences and volunteer activities. |
