IAHPERD Jeopardy - An Academic Contest for Student Members |
For the last 10 years, IAHPERD Jeopardy has been conducted at the Illinois State Convention. The format is patterned after the popular television show Jeopardy, but with specific changes. The contest involves teams of 3 students representing their institution, responding to questions drawn from subjects they have taken as part of their professional preparation. Additional fun topics are also used. The focus of the presentation will be on how the event is structured, so that other states may consider including this type of program for its student membership. Example competition would be part of this session. |
