Body Component Approach to Studying the Development of Sport Skills |
Group projects assigned in two different university motor development classes will be presented. Both group projects use the body component approach to motor development by having university students identify changes that occur in fundamental sport skills (e.g., volleyball spike, basketball free throw) over time. Assessment techniques, novel approaches to “packaging” the group projects, and samples of student work will also be presented. Members of the audience are invited to share their comments and/or ideas for group projects. |
