Multicultural and Diversity Issues in Adapted Physical Education |
This session will focus on how multicultural and diversity issues impact the delivery of adapted physical education services to children with disabilities. Multicultural issues to be discussed will include race, religion, socioeconomic status, and English as a second language. The goal of the session is to help participants understand, appreciate, and learn how to honor the unique needs of students with disabilities from diverse backgrounds. |
