Sports Supplementation: One Schools Approach |
The use of sports supplementation is one of the fastest growing trends, yet least discussed issues, in all levels of sports today. Sport supplementation is a multi-billion dollar industry that has targeted high school students as a primary consumer. We will explore the positive and negative aspects of the most commonly used supplements on the market. Also we will look at how schools can take a proactive approach, by increasing the students and parent’s awareness and knowledge of the hazards of sports supplementation. |
