Evaluating the Professional Behaviors of PETE Students |
A major challenge facing PETE programs is addressing the issue of professional behaviors or dispositions in students. Although these behaviors are difficult to measure and often require subjective evaluations, the National Standards do require the assessment of professional dispositions. The purpose of this session is to describe a newly developed formal evaluation system to assess the professional dispositions of PETE students. The session will include information about administration procedures, reactions from both the faculty and students, and preliminary findings. |
