TabletPCs: Efficiently Collecting and Managing Student Performance Data |
This presentation will demonstrate the value of using a tabletPC as the desired input device for data collection, storage, and transfer for physical education. The advantages of the tabletPC will be addressed in comparison to PDAs and traditional paper and pencil methods. Participants will view a prototype data entry program which can be configured to work with any content taught in physical education. The program will allow the teacher to interactively collect data in real time during class and store it on the device and/or automatically transfer it to a base computer or server if a wireless network is available. |
