Engagement: Students Learning, While Serving, Leading to Research |
This session will discuss the benefits and how to get your students actively engaged in service learning while also leading to student and teacher research opportunities. We will discuss how this is being done at two different Universities as well as the benefits and problems associated with different types of service learning. We will also share our experiences in this area, have an opportunity to hear what students thing of this type of learning and open up the floor for discussion. |
