Mr. Hunter was the first Black basketball player to sign a contract with an NBA team – The Washington Capitals, 1950. He was the protégé of the late, great John B. McClendon, Jr.
There are many lessons to learn from legendary persons both past and present. The past is indeed prologue to the present and future. Our veteran professionals provided and continue to provide insight and dynamic direction through their professional and personal experiences, emotions and lessons learned.
This session is devoted to conversing with one of our veteran professionals who has made important choices in his life and has embarked on journeys that have had large consequences for him and others.
