Children's Dance in Sports: Using Sport Movements to Create Dances |
Join the presenters in this participatory program, where we will explore practical ways students can develop physical and mental skills by using both dance and sports exercises. Dances will be developed based on 1) a children's book about ballet and baseball, and 2) a 16-count routine that will identify and organize sports movements. Benefits of this program include applying the National Dance Standards, teaching social interaction, and the fun of creative, physical activity. |
