Geo-Caching: Using a Global Positioning System for Orienteering |
Participants will meet at the convention registration desk to attend a short session on the use of a GPS system. They will then be divided into small groups and be given distinctly diffferent orienteering courses locating the way points of a number of historic sites within walking distance of convention headquarters. Each site (way point) will provide clues to the latitude and longitude position of the final destination. Come join us in the high-tech fun of discovering New Orleans. |
