Reaching for the Top? Career Aspirations of Senior Women Administrators in Intercollegiate Athletics |
The purpose of this session is to examine the under-representation of intercollegiate administrators at the NCAA Division I, II, and III levels by studying Senior Women Administrators profiles and career aspirations. It is important to determine if women in the SWA position aspire to become athletic directors, as the current number of female athletic directors, particularly at the NCAA Division I and II levels continues to decrease, while at the Division III level, they continue to increase. |
