Integrating Dance into the Elementary Curriculum |
This session offers ways to incorporate dance into many aspects of the elementary school curriculum, including art, music, physical education, and more. This session is based on collaborative efforts of educators in various disciplines over several years. Thematic material includes spider's webs, solar systems, penguin movement, magnets, children's literature, artist's works and many more. Participants will develop new ways to incorporate movement into their classes or teach others how to use dance within the curriculum. |
