Conducting and Evaluating Physical Activity Interventions with Women: Issues and Controversies |
This session is designed for the researcher or practitioner who is interested in designing, implementing, and evaluating effective physical activity interventions with women. Four experts who have conducted physical activity interventions with women will present information about using theory to guide interventions, threats to validity and measurement in an intervention study (and how to minimize them), and effectively using pedometers, questionnaires, and accelerometers to measure physical activity in women. |
