Using Yoga Poses and Sequences In The Workplace to Promote a Healthy Lifestyle |
This program provides information on proper yoga techniques and allows attendees to participate in a variety of yoga poses culminating in a yoga sequence. Proper yoga breathing postures and stress postures will be discussed and demonstrated. A focus of this program is to help people recognize the importance of yoga as a method to increase, maintain, and promote a healthy lifestyle. Incorporating yoga stretches and breathing exercises into a daily exercise routine can increase flexibility and prevent stress. Other benefits of yoga practice include mental control, intellectual acuity, ease of movement, physical health and vitality, emotional balance and control. |
