NDA General Assembly: Cultural Threshold -An Interactive Dance Experience |
Plenary Speaker: Dr. Joan Hamby Burroughs, Orchesis Contemporary Dance Theatre, Florida A & M University
A long-time student and educator in the rich traditions of Katherine Dunham and the African Diaspora, Dr. Burroughs will infuse historical and cultural components of many dance forms into her Plenary Speech. A performance reflecting her research is scheduled during this program. The General Assembly will afford all NDA members the opportunity to discuss our future direction as leaders in dance education. |
