Inclusion in Physical Education
The in-depth program focuses on inclusion in Physical Education and is in four parts. Part 1 shares methods of preparing a successful learning environment for individuals with and without disabilities. Part 2 offers creative ideas for teaching physical education to young children with special needs. Part 3 presents the program, The Coordinated Approach To Child Health (CATCH), which is an extraordinary health program designed to help schools, children and families adopt healthy behaviors. Part 4 is a participatory presentation demonstrating the use of non-traditional/non-competitive innovative dance methods for teaching sport skills while concurrently providing a positive impact on inclusion.
